Reports of counterfeit money, in this case £20 notes have been offered as payment for goods in three reported businesses, in Burford. CCTV and other enquiries are currently being made. On this occasion no goods were purchased and the staff became aware before any transactions were made. If you, or any one you know owns a business, then please share this post and raise some awareness. There are also many products on the market that can check notes for their integrity, such as note marking pens, and UV note scanners. If you have any doubts please report it.
